This privacy policy applies to the RoutineIt app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by RoutineIt (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Commercial service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".
The Application collects information to provide a better user experience and robust functionality. The types of data collected depend on how you use the Application:
When using the Application without signing in ("Guest Mode"), all data (including habits, journal entries, workouts, and tasks) is stored locally on your device only. In this mode, no personal data is transmitted to our servers.
If you choose to create an account and sign in, your data will be securely synchronized to our cloud servers (Google Firebase). This allows for backup and access across multiple devices. This synchronization is entirely optional and only occurs after you explicitly sign in.

Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to aid the Service Provider in improving the Application and their service. The Service Provider may share your information with third parties in the ways that are described in this privacy statement.

The Application does not collect precise location data. Approximate location data (e.g., derived from IP address) may be used by analytics services to determine broad geographic usage patterns, but individual users are not tracked.
The Service Provider will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application. You can delete your account and all associated data instantly and permanently directly within the Application settings. No interaction with support is required for deletion. Once deleted, this data cannot be recovered.
The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years
of age.
Guest Mode: In Guest Mode, all data is stored locally on the device. No personal information is
collected or transmitted to our servers, ensuring complete privacy for all users, including children.
SignedIn Mode: For cloud features, we rely on Google Sign-In, which enforces its own age
restrictions. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided personal information in violation of this, we
will immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child
has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to the Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
